Yeah but not as often as the pigs do. Mainly when they are cleaning out, or renovating a burrow, otherwise cool dry dirt of a burrow suits them fine.

That is their No 1 favourite..DIRT!! Never hose them down. They do not have sweat glands. Mud or dirt is how they cool themselves off. They are very good swimmers mind you, but do not swim for the fun of it. Only when forced to, say when their burrows are suddenly flooded and they are swept away by flood waters or something like that.
