Dawn is inside because she is crook. She is not a pet. Some of the many injured wombats that come to us, sometimes end up trusting us enough for them to seek our company. Once they are mended and they have sufficient bush skills, only then are they released back to the wild. We dont just dump them in the bush just because they are healthy. We never release under 25kg and never send them back until they behave like a wombat.Related content
