Why thank you. He or she " White Winged Chuff ". Picked him up on a job site, only young fella couldnt fly , lookin pretty ragity so he came home and he"s decided he wants to hang around.
Very protective of us all here. Flys to the gate every arvo when i get home from work, very special boy this one.
He has just found a new home just outside the house site in a nice big ghost gum. By sunrise hes looking into our bedroom window telling us he wants his breakfast now. So up i get.
Quiet amusing...

That's an incredible story, thanks for sharing it. Life off the beaten track, a bit on the wilder side, and the special relationship between humans and animals were the first things in your pictures that attracted my attention. Being able to observe it is a great, soothing experience.

It was meant to be i think, the people at the job i was doing wouldnt of worried bout Maggie from the impression i got from them. Not because they were bad people , i would say just uneducated about injured wildlife.
So who knows what would of happened to him/her.
Yes I am privileged to be able to see just a small part of Australia's wonderful wildlife.
Not many people would get to see what we see, let alone do what we do. Mind you its not all good, there are many sad moments as well, but i guess its all part of life isn't it. Try not to let it effect you as best we can.
Many times i wonder how unfair it can be but it always makes me think, there are many people and many animals that are worse off than me. Cant take anything for granted these days.
I thank you deeply for taking such an interest in my photos. It means a lot.
