Hello there, yes we try to name them depending on the circumstances in which they came to us. Sometimes however we just give them names if we dont have any information on them. For instance , Lucy was someone's pet. Nothing spectacular about that other than the fact that the people are morons for treating her as one.

I just named her Lucy. Ruthy was named after the lady that found her and so on.

Thank you for telling me I did not know that people keep these kind of animals as pets I thought they were wild animals and could not be kept as a pet

Correct. There not supposed to, but who is to know. They are supposed to be a protected species ! Not much protectin goin on out there.
