Description This girl IS a wild animal. She has been severely injured and is in rehab with us. 6 months or more of rest and medication then she may be ready for release. Also wombats do NOT make good pets. They are a unique animal and you need specialised training to handle and take care of them. Yes their cute when their little blah blah, but when they get to a certain size they get bitey and they love to dig. So grandmas lovely rose garden wont look so lovely anymore mark my words.

You are doing a wonderful thing by saving these adorable creatures   Where do their injuries come from, road accidents?

Thanks for your kind words. If you want to see a wombat in the wild you should only see them from late in the arvo (dusk) to early morning. If you happen to see one after those times, there's most likely something wrong. Yes they are nocturnal ,they should be sleepy during the day.Have you seen my gallery, we have other one with us. Some have been released a some haven't sadly made it.

We cant save them all but we try.
