Hi Willem, its nothing serious, we mark them with ( non toxic ) marker dye so when they go out of the big enclosure i.e into the bush, so we can identify who they are. This is of course if they decide to hang around the property.

Suzy is doin a brilliant job as a 1st time mum. She will be right for a while. Shes happy enough to stay here while young Sally grows up. When mum pushes her away, mum can then move on. Then its Sally's turn to show us she can be a wombat. Only when she has the skills ,which mother should teach, will she be released.

I scratched my head and said, " No way !! " Ran down to the house got a camera , snuck back up , popped the camera over the top and took the picture. then i said , Yes Way!

She done one hell of a job keeping her hidden. Then again little sally would not of came out of the burrow up until recently. so who was to know.
