Mate this is a Bear Nosed Wombat. We saved her from a raging river when the big rains came back in 2010. Unfortunately we found her mother 1st and we had to get her ashore straight away, because holding a highly stressed 30 odd kilo wombat in a dodgy dingy in raging waters with one paddle is not something i would recommend to the kiddies mind you. We found Pj 40 odd metres down stream clinging to dear life to a pile of trees. Her lucky day. Many drowned that day. We have a wombat santuary in Gundaroo NSW. Look up sleepy burrows on face book if you want.
