Yes indeed they dont normally let you get real close. This guy is with the mob that comes down when im about to feed the wombies. So i throw them some feed as well. I can get to about 4-5 metres of these guys before they move away.
They sort of know im not a threat to them but are cautious just the same. There is another guy who comes with this fellow who is a little bigger, i can get to about 3 metres of him and sometimes he will stand up and growl at me. Which means he's not impressedΒ , he is a bit more confident. . He would give me a touch up i think. Β Β Β

This fellow if standing up, balance on tail would be around 1.8 metres tall. Theres another guy that comes through at dusk is a monster. He is well over 2 metres.
