Unfortunately there is also a down side to the safety of this poor animals. God these are the kind of pictures that bring out the absolute worse in me. I do not know what brought things to this point and I do not think I want to know as I just will go off like the crazy person I am. But I do know one thing that you are that one special person that will do everything in your power to try to bring it back to health. I am greatly affected ny images like this. I hope there are no more to follow.

This little girl is sleeping. By the look of her wounds most likely from other wombats, NOT humans, she has been on her own for a while which is down right remarkable considering her size.
God only knows how she survived. They are tougher than nails. As for her mother who knows , most likely hit by car. That is the majority reason why we get these little guys in.

A word of caution if you do though, we dont sugar coat anything because thats not the way the real world is. Its not all cute and cuddly out there as you are aware. There is good and obviously bad on our website.
All our wombats are here for bad reasons , be it for cruelty, unwanted " illegal pets " , they are sick , orphaned from road accidents or because they been thrown out of the colony. We turn their sad circumstances into a 2nd chance of life and hopefully released one day. Some will stay with us for one reason or another but thats fine with us. We kind of like having them around.

I would guess it is just as bad if she acquired her wounds from other animals. It looks like a baby I guess it was easier for the others to take advantage. It hurts all the same. And I do admire you for the help and care you give to them. I pray that she will survive and if she does please do let us know I am all for a happy ending. I do not have a FB anymore but appreciate your offer.

Oh this is much too sad for me. I admire you for taking care of these poor unfortunate animals but this makes me far to sad to look at this poor helpless little guy. It looks like a baby too. This is much too hurtful. I don't like these type pf photos. I think this is the side I do not want to know about.

Friend if I may say something to you. I appreciate the wonderful person that you are and that you always express your deep love for these animals by showing us how much you care about them in helping them in their time of need. But I do not have to stomach to look at these kind of photos because they bring tears to my eyes. It hurts to see photos like this. So would it be okay if we just saw the more happy ones instead? I am thankful that there are good people like you to help them.

I understand your concern miss but I think you have misunderstood the photo. She is only sleeping here. looking a bit rougher than the luckier ones, i feel she deserves to be on the podium with the others. I intend no offence to you or any other person who comes across the wombat photos. With Kind Regards.

It does not mean she is not beautiful like the others. I hope she survives. I just don't like seeing animals sick or hurt the title sort of plays with that
