Good idea indeed Lucy. Unfortunately little notice is taken. A rough guess by authorities is that 7000 wildlife creatures are killed every day in our state alone. They dont stand a chance , no matter how many signs you put up. So your prays, are all they have.

To cover the government backside for not warning people that wildlife maybe encountered whilst travelling that road. If you hit an animal , have a crash, injuries etc the local council or government department is in the clear because you WERE warned.

Your a good girl Lucy. We have got 5 little ones in , in the last 5 weeks. Latest one came in tonite. Little female , bout 3kgs. Good health mind you which was a bonus. Will update latest arrivals soon.

Yes good idea if people actually took note , however I would say its not the animal that they are concerned about, its the damage they can cause to theirs vehicles.
" What an inconvenience this animal has cause me"( to put it nicely ) is the way people think , by the way of car repairs, insurance claims, accident and personal injury in some cases etc etc.
The animals suffer due to the fact that incompetent humans couldn't be bothered to slow down in wildlife areas, or from dusk to dawn when wildlife activity is most active. Our work will only end when we can no longer lift a finger to help them. Who said " Humans " are the more intelligent of the species !

You must be kidding? screw their vehicles thanks for clearing up that issue for me. I figured that was too good to be true. Amazing. I always felt the real animals in our society are the two legged ones. I am glad at least there are great people like you out there making a difference
