It was in the middle of the afternoon and I had only just woken up a while ago after a long night of staying up on the computer. It was the weekend and my parents were away for the weekend on a business trip, so I was to fend for myself until Monday, which would also mean I'd have college again. I decided to enjoy the weekend to the greatest extent that I could. As I passed by the front door holding my morning Starbucks frappuccino, which I had stored in my fridge for the weekend, I noticed a large shape on the other side of it. I hesitated for a moment but, after putting down my coffee, decided to open the door to discover a large package on my front step. There was no company logo on it or label that would indicate where it came from or what was inside. Packages weren't normally delivered on weekends either, so naturally I was immediately suspicious.
Despite my doubts, I took the package inside with a bit of difficulty due to its abnormal size. After finally getting the mysterious package open in my living room I discovered the contents to be some kind of giant plush snake with a robotic-looking head made of hard plastic with a dimmed yellow eye in the middle. I decided to examine it farther once I took it to my bedroom, so I picked it up and hauled it across the house. I soon set it down in my bedroom next to a shelf displaying various souvenirs I had gathered over the years that all held significance to me sentimentally, stood back and admired it.

*The doll seemed to automatically go into a certain position,similar to a sitting Gargoyle. The fact that it moved on its own was quite suspicious*

Noticing the doll seem to adjust its position, I got chills down my spine. I told myself that it must have a special wire frame inside of it or something to keep it in its intended pose. I also thought that maybe it was just stiff from being in that position in the package for so long. However, no matter how many times I told myself that as I gazed upon the strange plush doll, I couldn't deny that it held an uncanny presence with it... the kind of feeling you get when you know someone is staring at you, or you know there is someone in the room with you.
It was still noon and I didn't want to spend my whole day pondering the meaning and origin of the mysterious plushie, and decided to head over to the living room and play video games all weekend like I originally intended.
