I was commissioned by my dear friend to draw these two in their Japanese inspired outfits from the game ^^ (Velvet's is a DLC, Eizen's obtainable in the game)Aaaand he commissioned this to be a gift - to myself.
I mean - this is such a great thing to do, I'm so grateful

This is a very tender picture. You did an excellent job on the interior of the room and the view outside theΒ house. A few more thin, solid outlines on the background would add a bit more definition, but it looks fine this way, too. The characters' outfits are really well-drawn, as are their expressions. Velvet's hair looks beautiful.

Though about redoing some parts of the big with more intense colors for definition but some outlines would help too ^^

It's from my friend who like Tales franchise (and spread the virus). Yes Velvet is one of my favorite and her story is rather an unfortunate one at beginning. (Besides she's so pretty) The other one being Edna

Edna ;-; I just wither inside when I think about her fate >< it's so well wrtten how a character with a literal god complex has the humblest of wishes and still gets denied ;-;
Eizen, Velvet and Edna. My top 3 characters - and my gallery is full of them to somewhat give them nice moments ;-;

Yes, it also amaze me. It would be so easy that her wish is granted by the power of love and friendship like some cliche ShΕnen anime, but no. In reality, not all wishes will be granted. Edna taught that how strong you are, how dear someone to you, how big is your wish for something to come true, sometimes you have to let go and move on. Very relatable.

but she can't let go ;-; she can't change and move on. this plot paired with this character leads to eternal sadness ;-;
this is one thing I like about the Zestiria anime - they find a different end for the siblings ^^ not a 'OMG ALL IS GOOD' sort of end but one whic is the closest to being good wihtout breaking canon ^^
yup... basically before the final battle she knows fully well that she will not be walking back out of there. And she is pushed to the brink of literal insanity. Only Laphi and Eizen haul her back >< Namco never abused a character like hers :0

Because she can't is why actually people should, that's you are not only breaking your heart (also some viewer here cough cough) It is like telling to do something but doing the opposite.

but really what she teaches me is that people don't die as long as you remember them ;-; seeing her would never make me do the reasonable thing which is to let go ;^;
she fits in so well with the berseria theme of reasonVSemotion. She is super reasonable in every regard aside from when it comes to Eizen.

Actually I'd say the length fits the proportion of her chest, but needs more curve at the waist and at the ribs, and then the legs would be increased in size altogether. I often find I draw legs to small initially.
