Description
I've been working with a few new pattern ideas as of late. I'm in the midst of finishing a penguin, but before I got his head done black Friday came and I ended up getting quite a few orders from my shop (I've been grinding sharks for a week now...). I decided to take a little break the other night and drafted up a new pattern and ran a few prototypes until it was up to par with my standards-and wala, a snake was born.Per Usual:
20" long from nose to tail
Made from Kelly Green and Ivory Shannon Cuddle 3 (the dark one is made from Brown) Minky
Stuffed with Polyester Fiberfill and Polyester Beads
Embroidered with Rayon Thread

This little dude was a little bit harder than I was anticipating...it was a completely new head style that I had never tried before, so it took quite a bit of trial and error for me to get the diamonds to line up correctly. The little brown one is the prototype with about three yards worth of thread in handsewing in his noggin to make it look even somewhat respectable. The brown one also had the snout holes of a python, but I figured most people would look at those and go "why does this snake have six nostrils?" so I scratched that. He's a suprisingly nice and floppy weight and can curl up by himself and wrap around things surprisingly well. Hope you guys like him

HOLIDAY INFO
If you are planning on getting someone handmade art for the holidays (either from me or another artist online) PLEASE commission them early. It takes time to finish up art and they don't want to be working up till the last day with commissioners breathing *and begging* down their neck. Please be considerate of their schedules. Thanks and happy holidays!

It's adorable I used to buy every snake plush I saw as a kid. Or attempted at least xD I still would.

..If snakes were this adorable in real life, I wouldn't be so terrified of them.
Lovely work!

Through my experience, pythons are such sweeties that there is nothing to be afraid of. Don't quite care for garter snakes though...squirrely guys move too fast for my taste.

Beautiful! It would be a serious hit among Pythonistas (programmers and people passionate about Python programming language).

I'm glad you like it! My neighbors breed ball pythons, so this little guy was much overdue.
