I found it ironic that the M16 is one of the beginner guns and that I also prefer semi automatic 3 pound burst rifles. I agree with the RPG's I just gave up and took to hiding whenever a chopper came near...or I would use an LMG along with the combined fire support of friendlies. I learned to run after every close quarters kill...

Actually, the trick to using the RPG against helicopters is to wait for it to stop to shoot at someone else. The chopper AI waits for 4 seconds before moving again so if it's at medium-to-close range you should be able to shoot it down.
Blowing up a helicopter by shooting underneath it was fun.

True, but the damn RPG, according to my experience, has a 50/50 chance of veering off coarse at any range...
