Here's an interesting one. This isn't my painting, for a start. Most of my artistic bent was inherited from my paternal grandmother, who passed away at the age of 95 earlier this year. This was always my favourite painting of hers, and I was fortunate enough to be allowed to keep it as a memento of her. I think it's creative and full of rich detail, just like a lot of her work. Dementia is a barbaric and cruel disease, but this way I can remember her how she was supposed to be - at her best.
