I had an idea while randomly doodling dinosaurs to create a kind of alternate take on some of the Skull Island fauna from my favourite film ever, Peter Jackson's King Kong from 2005. This was very much inspired by the excellent tie-in book The World of Kong that details the entire ecosystem that Weta Workshop designed for the film.

This is my take on Venatosaurus, the raptors that attack the crew during the Brontosaurus stampede. I didn't do as much of a radical departure as with the V. rex, but adding feathers was a given.
