Happy May the 4th and all that. It you follow me on Tumblr, it's pretty obvious I'm borderline obsessed with Daisy Ridley's face. It's an elusive one to capture, at least for me. This version probably ended up the best of my attempts, but it's also unfortunately a pretty straight forward take on a promotional shot from FORCE AWAKENS. Eh, guess that gives me another excuse to keep trying.

Yes in force awakens movie she was sick so they computer generated her using scenes from the old movies I'm not really clear on the process tho but I'm so sad she died

It's drawings like this that make me envious of people who are skilled at traditional art... meanwhile all I have is photoshop... this is a great drawing, the line work is masterful, its an elegantΒ passing of the generations.

Thanks much! I try to balance my art between traditional and PS. I love myself some Photoshop and I'm envious of what many (many, many) people can do better than I. It's just another tool in the toolbox ultimately. Have fun with it!
