with this next installment, we meet what comes as close to a special infected as it's going to get (besides Control Brains). A Zombified Elite soaks up a lot of damage thanks too their armor and a built in energy shield. (The shield added to prevent claims of "Just shoot him in the head!" XD; )

I'd shoot him in the head, anyways! Or the feet. And hands. They always forget to add extra protection there, so the shield's at its weakest! (If I couldn't get at the PAK directly, that is...)

I demand more Irken zombie apocalypse!!! I had my own idea like this but with my char Miz created a virus that made Irken technology turn on them since they had become so dependant on it. Even Paks attacks their hosts. So I enjoy seeing these things.
