Description Destroyer Droid, final renders

I have decided to submit one last deviation of my droideka model which composes four different renders, i will move on to other SW characters now. hope you like it

Modeled in SolidWorks 2006
Model: 10-14 hrs
Rendering Preparation: 2-3 hrs
Render: 2 hrs

awesome work, man. Im always jealous of modellers. I can animate CG well enough using maya, but modelling completely eludes me. Did you work on a rig for him and is he fully functional?

thanks so much well i didn't use rig or any skeletons but still it is fully functional the droid is composed of nearly 40 different parts and every part is connected to each other just like in real life assembly, so that you can move or rotate every part of the droid

well i didn't have the movie when i made these, i only found some pictures from google images they were mostly low quality and from stupid angles, only one of them was a picture taken from the right but that one was small, i really had hard times making this one. especially the connection part of the body and the legs is different from the original. but i think it is still good

True, but I bought when the Games cames out in Luxembourg the special edition from Unreal Tournament 2k4 there are more than 24h tutorials how modelize some gamecharacter etc. If you like to have those tutorials please send me a mail on my email adress or send me a note.
