Description

So far I haven't come across many critters (that one longhorn beetle being an exception here), which is not surprising considering the season. But it's also very mild, no snow, temperatures aren't dropping below zero during the day, so I'm on the lookout for anything that comes my way. And it just happens to be a spider. Green crab spider (Diaea dorsata) to be exact. Now, they're not crawling outside, they tend to stay under bark for the time being, but I've been running into them for 2 days, which is kinda remarkable.
