EDIT: I fixed the leg.
I finally got another chance to photograph myrmecophilous rove beetle Lomechusa emarginata. And yet again I'm not quite happy with the results. It was perfectly willing to pose for me and there were no franticly running ants bumping into it, but my photos are underexposed blurry mess. Still, this is significant improvement over my last attempt. Next time will be better.
I just noticed the middle leg got mangled in the stacking process and I missed that. Way to go me.
