Very late, but I wanted to get this dang thing finally over and done with ;A; For Day 4 of Voltron Week: Day Off/Vacation. The Paladins have some time off so Allura starts teaching them one of her favorite Altean pastimes: dancing! (I changed the initial story a bit to match the theme, thanks for the tips Berba >w< )
Meanwhile Coran… the little princess he took care of is not so little any more, and all these Altean dances bring back memories and it really hits them both that they are the last to pass on their traditions to others…sorry my thoughts got a bit heavy– also! First time drawing Coran!!
There is no shipping intended with this, by the way; it's been tagged with Shallura which...is okay I think, for me. It's not what I intended but it's like...the one Voltron pairing I MIGHT be okay with so *shrugs* Now as for the few rare cases of pairing Allura with Coran...seriously guys. Seriously. No.
Yaaaaaay I'm done!! I had very ambitious ideas for the next days but I might have to tone them down for lateness and my sanity ;w; Stay tuned for those!

Keith and Shiro made me laugh so hard; their expressions are just priceless. And Shiro getting the dip instead of the other way around is perfect; he looks so confused. Keith just looks cornered.
Lance is funny too, in his own way. He thinks he's so suave, lol. And Hunk is just . . . adorable. No other word for it.
Yaaay Pidge in a dress! Love that one too; she looks cute in it. I especially love the headband.
And speaking of dresses, I love how you change Allura's look with each Paladin. She has a different yet fitting hairstyle each time, and wears a different dress with a matching style and color, and even colors her nails. Good design work.
Coran of course is very sweet. I love the relationship they have; its touching without even being slightly romantic. They hold each other up in their sad moments and have a beautiful friendship, and these images capture it wonderfully. And while she changes dresses for the others, she wears the traditional Altean dress with her Altean friend.

HAHAAAHHH, I love the one where she's dipping Shiro. XD So perfect! I really love reversal tropes like that; so cool that Allura being strong enough to toss Shiro around is canon, too!
She's so beautiful and strong and graceful (I love that dress!!! Oh, wait, I just realized that in addition to Allura often having a star theme in fandom, Shiro's element is space, isn't it?! 8D Wonderful tie-in!). She probably has no idea how unconventional she's being by Earth standards, and Shiro's face is priceless. Sort of "OH WOW okay, this is happening, uuuhhhh...." She's got him so far off balance, look how tight he has to cling to her. XD <3
Awwww, Alteans.... (Great job on Coran, it looks like you've been drawing him for ages!) Poor things, I can definitely see that they'd have memories stirred up, so bittersweet because they were good memories but so much of it is forever lost now, and they're the only two of their people left.... Seeing them dance together gives such a strong impression of sadness and nostalgia and closeness!

Same here! I'm determined to avoid shipping anyone romantically in this show, but Shallura's pretty much the only couple I don't mind seeing in fanwork even though I don't ship them as a couple myself.
(I figured some people would make Coran & Allura a couple; uuugghhh, why, people....)
