I AM putting these in order, this is my second favorite scene in Puella Magica Madoka...basically, I pretty much disliked Homura through most of the show, I'm not sure why (the purple haired one) but then you see her story...HER STORY!! You get to see the many times she tries and fails to save Madoka from dying after the final battle, but the one I drew here struck me the hardest. They're lying beside one another, waiting to become witches themselves, but madoka clears Homura's soul gem with the last grief seed she has, and asks her friend to try and go back again to save her from making the stupid decision to be a magical girl...I started crying there, but then it got worse. Madoka then asks her friend to kill her present self, and Homura's screams when she does so...it's heartbreaking. I just...this scene was overwhelming for me, I was crying from here on out to the end of the show, but it was still so GOOD! I liked the overall ending, but...it hurt so much to get there TwT (btw, plaid skirts are very annoying to draw...as is trying to draw shallow water :/)
And now, since I am at home, sick, I will be going off to bed again =w='''
