I believe that classical mythology always portrayed Fauns and Satrys as
undeniably male (and party animals), whereas their female counterparts.
nymphs, etc, where more human like. It is an imaginative stretch to suggest
a female satyr...without showing the rest of the figure.... not to deny that this is an
excellent headshot......
