Description
This is a parody of the scene in episode 2 of Evangelion, "The Beast", where angel Sachiel is pounding Eva Unit-01's head with it's arm-spike...thing.Originally created for an Anime News Network Big-O fan art contest. Having only about a week to complete the entry it came out a bit rushed but overall quite nice.
This is the final piece after sufficient time was spent with it to correct most of the problems and to add in additional effects and texturing. Unfortunately, to fix one the biggest problems, the sketchy, rough line work would require redrawing almost the entire image.

The whole time I was watching Evangelion I was thinking how much better the show would be if it had someone more confident than shinji as the protagonist, then I remembered Big O exists. Thank you for drawing this.

Hmmm, while there's no official name for it, I dubbed it "Kinetic Piston". Despite it using compressed air, it still provides a LOT of compression. Missed shot againts Big Duo traveled few hundred meteres, and had enought power to penetrate several consecutive buildings.

Yeah most of the Big O weapons are physical, but he does have two attack that hare lazar based. And the AT-field can't block anything that is beam related. That and Roger Smith... That's all Just Roger Smith.

Sure, but Big O is enduring all on it's own. he DESERVES the title of Mighty Glacier.
Also, Believe it or not, there ARE weapons that can punch through an AT-Field aside from the Lance of Longinus. otherwise it'd be impossible to win in the SRW games that include them. and while you'll point out that it's a game, I still say it proves my Point in that there ARE weapons that can pierce an AT-Field.

SRW isn't cannon, so it doesn't count, you can argu that it dose all day but that doesn't change the facts. You also have to consider the much greater reflexes that the evas have, the fact that there bigger stronger, and are designed to fight planet busters. You also have to consider that the BigO can't dish out more damage than it can take, and the AT field has been known to block nukes to the face at just low output (this is evident because its invisible while blocking, and only becomes visible when outputting a lot of power)

Sure it isn't Canon, but Canon goes out the window in Crossovers.
And for Size, they're both assumed to be about 40 meters...or at least that's what I've heard anyway...
also, Since going into Crossover territory, there are some energy types and Weapon types that may be able to ignore an AT-Field, seeing that the Buster Gundam managed a hit. Yes Big O couldn't Land a punch on it's own, but who's to say a Piston-Backed punch couldn't overpower the AT-Field like Angel-01's Eye lasers did to Zeruel's Many layered AT-Field....also, Big O HAS such a weapon, though usefullness may vary depending on the type of energy it uses.
Point being, an EVA isn't as invincible as one would think...once you Enter Crossover Territory, The Laws of your universe may not apply anymore.

you cant use cross overs as a means of gathering data, because they conflict with the original source.
according to you trust of crossovers, Mortal Kombat character would actually be able to fight superman and not get absolutely wrecked.
Also the Big O is measured at 98.4 feet and the eva unit 1 is measured at 139 feet. the angles eye laser was produced by use of AT fields, and lastly, the only way physics dont apply is if the entity in question is using a form of energy, or matter created by the author that allows there character to bypass physics (like an AT field). And considering that the BigOs piston punch relies on (really strange)physics, i dont think it would be in its best interest to just disregard the laws of the universe.

Why is this arguement a thing? Both things have done equally cool and ridiculous things, it's a nice concept, it's well done, why even say something like "bluh bluh could beat bluh bluh" or whatever. When I see things like this, I think....youtube. Don't make this a youtube thing. Just let it be cool looking, and if you don't like it, then who cares? don't like it, leave, look up art of Unit 1 owning a god or something. Man.....

This argument is a thing because its in context to what the drawing is trying to get across. Besides its not like I looked this up specifically, nor am I actually offended by the content, but discussions like this are intriguing for some people. that's why web shows like Death Battle exist, and why crossovers often include one main character fighting an other, and as far as i can tell the people posting here aren't attacking each other personally.

Money is still on Big O even if 01 went Feral...there are just some things that Plotarmor known as the AT-Field WON'T block....
Plus, Big O isn't an aggressor unit, and could possibly Wait out 01's timer by doing what it does best: Take hits like a Boss.

It takes more than that to stop an Eva. In 2.22 Eva02 in negative synchronization mode gets half its head removed and an arm ripped off and still has enough power to rip a hole in an AT field. Shinji isn't that kind of psychopath though.

I'd give the slight edge to Unit 01 too. Though it won't be able to get past Big O's armor or insane weapon arsenal with any semblance of ease.
Not to mention that Roger is much more experienced, skilled and resourceful as a pilot than Shinji.

Evangelion - A Gaint Huminoid Demi-god piloted by Hormonal brats that is/can be the Key to destroying all Life on Earth and turning it into our Gods Blood.
Megaduce - A Gaint Robotic Monster with more of a smaching fetish then Megas XLR. That has more secret weapons thanJames Bond and is Piloted by a Middle age Badass man who wears Black.
My Moneys on Big O, Why?
An Evangelion has a A.T Feild. This makes Big O Unable To harm it. But an Evangelion has go External weapons. Meaning a Evangelion must Lower his A.T Feild to attack the Megaduce. Alowing BIG O to attack back. And Big O Has more muscle and weight than a Evangelion.
Unless the Evangelion learns to manipulate his A.T Feild and throw it at Big O. A One shot kill.
Same with Final stage, although that is a one shot...
Still its Shinji, He cant Manipulate his Evangelions A.T Feild so Big O Wins. Against EVA 2, Well...
