Description Hi everyone, I hope you're all fine
I didn't give a lot of news since my last art. I was secretly working on another Flash project for showing my coding progress, but I couldn't keep the secret for long : so I'm currently working on a second RPG fighting game with the Megaman X's universe now (before it was Megaman Zero). I decided to change universe for varying my Megaman's works : it was too focused on the MMZ universe...
Unlike the previous RPG game,  I use more mathematics functions for this second game (conditional statements, Boolean functions, counters, and other time events... ). The result of this new syntax of coding is really good, as you can see, on this new RPG game, a Hyper mode will be available (like the Ride Armor, with various weapons : punches, plasma cannon ).
This it is a lot of work for controlling all the coding syntax, but also for ripping sprites + ripping SFX noises + making background graphics (there was a lot of preparations to do, because it is the first time that I work on this new Megaman universe...)...And it requires also a lot of time, with my school homeworks, revisions...

Sweet! I'm a little curious about why X is going against Dynamo, besides that the Maverick is just as tenacious as Sigma and Vile. But a Hyper Mode using Ride Armor sounds AWESOME!! The coding looks interesting too. Sorta similar, yet more complex than the program I use for my Stats class called RStudio.

I like your point on Dynamo, he is not really a Maverick, he is just a bounty hunter who wants to "have fun" with X and Zero... He will play a major role on the scenario : I decided to put Dynamo on this game because, in my opinion, he was a charismatic character (with his "cool" attitude...). And I'm really glad that you like this idea of Ride Armor as Hyper Mode
I heard a bit about RStudio, I think it uses the R language, isn't ?
AS3 is not really complex (well, I'm saying that because I'm studying it since 2 years now), it is using coding and graphics at the same time hehe...

I see. On both ideas. Yeah, Dynamo just liked toying around with the hunters from time to time. He even shows up in X6, during the Nightmare Crisis. Actually, you mentioning Hyper Mode reminds me of the Hyper Mode's from Command Mission. Albeit this one is a little different, it just brought that thought to mind.

Yeah, RStudio seems like simpler coding. Looking at the code you have for this RPG, I don't think I could really translate what commands lead to what events in the animation.

Yeah, really true for Dynamo. And good notice for Command Mission , I will try to put the Ultimate Armor too for a bit more choice.
For the AS3 coding, I just showed one frame of coding, I think that there is 300 frames of coding in all...
You are right for RStudio, the structure is lighter than AS3, it is interesting
For the events on this frame that I posted, all the elements with the "_btn" syntax are bound with the button executions : the gotoAndPlay syntax will lead you on another frame when you are clicking on a button (on the menu frame, or the ride menu frame...)
