A Navajo myth XD might as well use mine since no one else is gonna possibly use it. But basically its the Monster Myth; and that says there was once monsters roaming around terrorizing people.

So a giant skull person? I'd totally look at trolls and orcs that are humanoid, but beastly, for inspiration on those. Specifically Dragon Quest, because they're already sort of "toon-ized", and the body shape and designs of those may provide a bit of insight on how to design a fakemon of the same origins.

"Legendary Monsters" Hmm...
If this is referring to actual monsters that are well known...
I'm guessing both are TOHO monsters, this one being the subterranean mega beetle, Megalon. The other being the Giant Condor (creative name, I know)

Actually their based on the Navajo Monster Myth, this is based on the Horned Monster and the other is the Monster Bird. I was gonna update their info in a few.
