HI! I was originally going to upload this in a doodle dump of this character but decided against it so here we are! I'll still have plans to draw when it comes to a few characters so those will likely be compiled together and uploaded in the future, which'll likely include some stuff for this fellow! Fun. (:

Anyways, this has been done for a bit and was originally me messing around with this sort of cell shaded style on MsPaint and I've got to say, I really enjoy doing it even if it takes forever. I've continued messing around so there will be three more going up in a bit of Sunshine and Rhaine and then later, after I get this one named that is, another guy who's now important to Remus and Sirius.

This is VHS. You might be thinking "why is the plant named VHS?" and simply put: the scientists thought it would be funny. More on that in a bit.

VHS started out as a normal daisy until UH OH, why is the daisy sprouting arms? Eventually a tiny little plant monster emerged from the ground and is now pretty big. There was a small incident of a person getting eaten and another almost having their arm ripped off but that's about it as there quickly was a protocol set up for how to be careful around the plant.

VHS here can survive via photosynthesis and by eating animals (also requires water every now and again of course), which means that pretty much as long as it is fed it likely won't try to eat someone. They do make noises but I imagine sort of mainly hisses(sort of like the xenomorphs ?? maybe???), slasher necromorph type sounds, and like Last of Us bloater sounds (specifically the groaning(?) sort). She could probably mimic some words too with not a lot of success, think LoL Fiddlesticks but worse.

Generally speaking he doesn't do much if he's fed enough. They might wonder around and watch scientists do work or simply just stop moving for a bit. They are intelligent and are aware of things, don't get me wrong, but also acts very simple minded. If she is hungry then she'll either stand in sunlight/sunlight replacement or try to bite someone before being moved to an area to with plenty of sun and water. This all leads to their name, VHS.
See, the collective scientists assigned to study it weren't too sure at first how aware it was so they decided to test if it could recognize a name assigned to itself, so they all thought it would be funny to pick some weird name and they decided on VHS (sort of how some pet owners name their pets things like Concrete). Sure enough, they can recognize and respond to the name assigned to them.

VHS's body feels sort of like a mix of grass and hair/fur. I also imagine they're pretty ominous if seen when they're in the still state or you hear them before you see them, even then they're massive and have big ass teeth so still somewhat scary I'd imagine. They're fast and will run you down if they're that hungry. Good thing they're not that strong. They can regenerate parts of their body if a limb or something is taken off, it just takes a while. They're about 9ft tall or 2.8m and they do have a reference! sta.sh/01iedk00g1j2 I wasn't necessarily planning on making a reference but I have one, how fun.
