Just a picture i took in a subway station in Lisbon. For those who may want to know, it's "Parque" in the blue line.I have changed the frame taking the lovely advice from eszwal [link] , I think it's better like this, tell me what you think!

Love that there is no one there. Ghost trains? It almost makes you expect to see someone walk into scene at the bottom of the stairs. Cool

Very beautiful. I like the ceiling. I wonder what those yellow bar-things are, are they supposed to "arrest" anyone who stumbles down those stairs?

Andei imenso tempo para tirar esta foto mas quando a tirei fiquei bastante feliz com ela. Esta estação é, parea mim, a mais bonita de todas na rede de Lisboa. Acho-a como que saída de um conto de fantasia.

Sempre que passo no metro, há algumas estações em que penso sempre "bolas,tenho que tirar um dia uma foto às escadas". Talvez seja verdade que se vejam algumas imagens do género, mas eu acho que fica sempre uma foto tão bonita e estética.
E a estação do parque é muito porreira.
Eu aqui, gosto principalmente dos tons, cores e luz, e apesar de gostar da border, nao sei bem se me agradam as letras com o título ali.
De resto, óptimo trabalho.

As escadas têm sempre qualquer coisa de aliciante, para mim. Não sei se é a perspectiva que fornecem, se é algo bem mais simbólico ou profundo mas... eu gosto de escadas. Admito. Gosto mesmo.
A estação do parque é a minha preferida, honestamente, adoro-a e lamento não ter de ir à zona tantas vezes quanto isso porque me agrada olhar as paredes e sentir as palavras que por lá andam. Gosto daquelas coisas chamemos-lhe coisas que estão nas paredes. Parece-me ter entrado, subitamnete, num qualquer filme surreal e fantástico.
E eu que nem gosto de azul...

It is very intriguing choice. What strikes me mostly about it is. The 'abstraction' of life in the subway. You get the sense of isolation; yet, a hint of genuine pleasure to see the real inside of it rather then the distraction of individual clutter. A great idea and a wonderful inneraction to the eye's admiration.

This is, actually, one of the most beautiful subway stations I know, with the colour blue, little stone statues and sentences spread all over the walls. Poetry and Philosophy are the main subjects of those sentences. I have always wondered how it should look like, a picture from the place i took it so, here it is.
