The song, "Armchairs," by Andrew Bird inspired me to create this piece. The song itself has such an alien, peculiar..and... indescribable atmosphere to it. What inspires me most about Andrew Bird's music, is his lyrics. The music is good, of course, but he uses such interesting wording, and for most songs, I am constantly looking up the new words I encounter. I'm constantly learning these beautiful words though his music.
I also realized this photo could have a double meaning, "Apocrypha,"referring to hidden or mysterious. "Hidden Limbs, Mysterious Limbs." But, you could take it from a different angle, and see, "Hidden Tree Limbs." See?
