Description Here's an updated version of my original color guide for Perler beads. Note, this isn't every single color they offer on their site but it does include a bunch of new tones I didn't have before. Being able to get some new grey, blue, brown,Β and purple shades was nice. I also moved a few colors around from the previous version to keep them more evenly spread across the groups. Another thing to note is the translucent orange, pink, yellow, and green colors. As far as I know, Perler doesn't sell these in separate packs. I had to sort through a ton of 22K+ bottles to separate out those so I use them sparingly. Fortunately, there are some really good options for darker shades that work in their place. This guide is meant to show some of the color variation options when selecting shades in a perler piece. Like I've mentioned before, you can often swap out a mid or darker tone for the next one in line in a pinch. I can't think of too many cases where you'd need half a dozen color shades but it's possible when working at higher detail. Hopefully this diagram helps explain color options.

These color cubes also makes pretty decent coasters. Maybe I'll put them on a site like Etsy.
