I really like the contrast here. You've taken a picture of a lightbulb, but still the picture is so dark! Kinda hypocritical of the lightbulb

it almost looks like rust: possibly decay? quite ingenious actually. the light is not emanating from the bulb yet that is where it appears to come from : majic!

This is an awesome photo. I would have never thought of taking a photo of one of those lights in a resuraunt/bar/club with the reflective bulbs. Very creative. I especially love how the image is semi-reminiscient of one's eye.

This is a neat capture. The actual thumbnail kinda tricked my eyes into thinking this was either a bell or a flower... or maybe I'm just crazy.

Likes: the lighting, textures, colors, cropping. Together with the reddish coloring, the textures actually look pretty gorey.
Suggestions: this might be just my personal preference, but I'd do something about the white line in the borders. Thin it down to maybe one pixel, and change the color to grey.
Not-likes: It sort of kills the abstractness of this to realize that it's just a lamp and not a "mushroom viewed from the bottom". Then again, it might prove hard to make the lamp not so obviously lamp-like.

From the thumbnail, I totally thought it was an uprooted mushroom being viewed from the bottom. Full view has proved me way wrong. I love the red pattern/texture on the inside of the lamp, the cropping, the abstraction...very nice.
