God, I love elves. I love drawing them; I love fanart of them; I love their whole design. So here, have a dunmer lady. I'm starting to get a hang on other poses than just standing with arms crossed or something. Much to my sister's annoyance I need live models and then burst into her room with my mobile phone and tell her which pose I need. Thanks for that by the way, sis. Aaand since I have no I idea of colour composition whatsoever I just picked a random colour palette.Elder Scrolls belongs to Bethesda

Thanks! Was the first time I used palettes and I really had to try a bit until I was okay with the outcome. I think I had picked at least four that I liked before I settled with this one because it fit the situation (somewhere in an inn with a fire and warm light and stuff) and the whole dunmer design.

Colors are indeed very important, I really enjoy playing with them as well plus they can really change an atmosphere a lot ! I tend to use too much blue, but I try to contain myself because it gives really cold feelings and sometimes warmer colors are more appropriate !

same here. I really love the combination of pink and turquoise and when I look at what I draw it like 'damn there it goes again' and I have to completly recolour the thing so my pics don't all look the same or look strange because the colours don't fit with what I intended for the picture. It's hell
