Started as a color study, but gone a little too far. At first the palette was very reddish but in the progress of painting, changed into this one. Comments as always are very welcome.Related content

It may have gotten overboard, but that's probably why it's so good-looking.
Very nice atmosphere you've set here. I suppose it could be understood in a number of ways, from tense and dramatic to passionate and tender. The viewer can't really help but wonder what is going on - well, at least I'd like to know the plot?
Suppose the background is what's really confusing me about the picture's tale. If there was anything drawn there the interpretation would've been a bit easier. Though I admit: the expressions are excellent no matter how you look at them, and the lighting colour is superb.

Yes i have to admit that at some points, i really was thinking that, maybe it is a good idea to add something to background and i tried it a little bit, but somehow they altered the audiences' attention and diverted it from characters to their own, so I discard it. Maybe I hadn’t tried enough or i had not the courage to put it on final version, but you know I really wanted the focus on them (characters), exclusively.
