A pterosaur's instructions on washing capes: drink soap, regurgitate soap on cape, eat cape, regurgitate cape, pour liquid mushrooms on cape and wash it with mosasaurus saliva, let cape dry on a stick for about half a year (remeber that you are likely to never want to wear the cape again and you or your friends may vomit and you may get digested in the process of washing the cape)

See, Qrow knows where it's at. If you are going to be a hero, you need a signature piece of clothing, and since you are going t wear it all the time, you got to know how to take care of it. You can repair a gun. It is a lot harder to un-shrink a cloak.

Well that just goes without saying. Plus, Ruby has a cloak, and cloaks are like super capes, because they also have hoods. They look awesome, and are practical for bad weather...
