Love this! Beauty and the Beast was one of my favorite musicals that I was in, maybe because it was the first one I actually had a role in, you know, as NOT a chorus member. (I was one of the Silly Girls, as well as the backup for Babette.) It was soooo much fun. Although I like this Babette costume better then the one we had. Ours was black and red.

Lol I usually end up in the giggly roles, too, but that's mostly because I was the only one in high school that could pull it off. Everyone else was too nervous to do the fluttery, flirtatious, outrageous roles. Ado Annie and Miss Adelaide were my most recent. But it's been about two years since I've been in anything. I miss it a lot.

Soooo I'm a costume designer, recently was silly girl numero uno in B&B at my school. I made Babette's dress. Just thought I'd let you know this pic was one of my inspirations even before I got a DA!

True, but I had a great time making them! I did Babette, and then Belle's yellow ball gown, and that was all I had time for. The show was so amazing, Alan Menken is a musical genius... cried every night! What was your experience with the show?

Wow, Belle's gown must have been a challenge! I really enjoyed myself too, rehearsals all through last summer were probably the highlights of the year
