Laura panted heavily as she ran through the creaking submarine. Her friends, her naval brothers and sisters; she could hear their screams of pain and cries for help. "Damn it!" She choked, nearly tripping on a beveled corridor.

The enemy had just signed a peace treaty with them, so why are they attacking? She shook her head. They were just playing them for a fool!

The woman stopped in a hall, gulping on a breath as she quickly hid behind a busted pipe after hearing the shots of an assault rifle. A few bullets ricocheted off the metal surfaces before catching in more pipes which burst them on contact, pouring more hot steam into the submarine halls. When she found she was in the clear, and her breath was caught up, she pressed on running. She had to find Phillip, the Commodore, if he was still alive.

Just then a voice at the end of the hall stopped her in her tracks. It sounded, sinister, and dark. What--?

A man emerged just behind a thick fog of steam, humming a little sea shanty to himself. Laura recognized him as Jack sturgeon, the enemy captain, bowever, he looked much different than when he signed the treaty. The old man was taller, with demonic features, and that voice, she knew it wasn't his normal tone.

"AHH, THERE YOU ARE MY DEAR..." The man smirked with a mouth full of rotted yellow teeth. Without warning, something shot out at Laura, from behind the man, with enough force to push her to the ground. She yelped as she hit the hard floor, shaking her head, but stopped as she saw a spade wriggle a few centimeters away connected to a tail. What the hell--

She got up, face filled with fear, as she ran towards an open hatch at the end of the opposite hall. She tripped again, but this time, her leg was held tightly by the spade. She trembled when she stared beyond her shoulder at this man slowly approach, laughing like a maniac, before she was finally caught by the back of her shirt and lifted into the air. He stared down the woman, smiling.

"I'M GOING TO HAVE FUN BREAKING YOU."
