I saw kids just dicking around with some high powered ones. None had eye protection. I warned them to wear it, but I was out for a walk so I did not hang around. I got about a block over and heard one of them can scream... just waiting to see some kid with an eyepatch now.

maybe the Canada government don't like the high powered airsoft rifles because they look very real. Besides, it's likely for a idiot kid to look down the barrel of a airsoft gun.

Well the thing is guns made by G&G, Echo 1 and such are 2-3 times the price here and tend to have clear/smoked clear receivers. Mostly only available if ordered online or from specialty stores...
Probably some kid with a 600 FPS gas powered sniper rifle ruined it for the rest of us... oh well more people armed with the walmart special means an easier victory on the field..

Yeah Walmart is known for selling crappy airsofts that breaks easily besides not high FPS. A older mature kid is likely to win the fight because he's smarter than other kids.

Walmart had some DPMS M4 that was.. well decent... and they had a TF7 which was okay... but they're a pretty rare thing to find.

I've got an AK47 with OD Green plastic parts where the wood would have been, and a clear receiver. Full metal gearbox, cost me $150. It destroys most other guns I've encountered...

MP5 and variants, MP7, AK variants, M4/M16 variants, Sig 552, many pistols, G36 variants, several basic sniper rifles and an L96 sniper (all bolt action)
Those are the most common atleast...

Mostly metal bodies, receiver tends to be plastic as we cannot sell them without them. We don't need the orange tips though...
Only machine guns I've seen was the MG36 variant of the G36, an AK with a drum mag and bipod and similar stuff. Assault rifles with drum/box mags and bipods.

Ahh sprat paint it, yeah i had a P90 and it was all clear so i spray paint it black and paint little details to it and it came out really nice.
