I think she got it mainly from Gone With The Wind, from the character of Melanie as being sweet, kind and virtuous. I spent years sulking that they didn't choose Scarlett instead

I check mine at work sometimes, I have to be careful though, the folks I work for frown on nudity on thier computers. So, it's into the message center and back out again until I get home!
