UGH whatever!!! this took too long!!! my problem is, I need to do more paintings that only take a few hours. I also need to stop going straight from grayscale thumbnail to finished painting. I need to start doing color thumbnails. I think I'll try doing some more frequent color speedpaints with characters in them so I can get better at putting colors into compositions.anyways this is just a dragon character I've mine I've had for like 8 years but never uploaded any drawings of lmao his name is Atirei

Fucking hell when I publish my book can you just do the illustrations and shit dude, like god damn. Your composition and color choices and character design are all so amazing. I seriously love the painterly look your work has, you can see the brushstrokes but it's not distracting or messy at all, and that's a really hard thing to pull off!
Also this guy looks really awesome, you should draw him more!
