This one is quite close to this
mercurycode.deviantart.com/artβ¦
and if it was Dream of the Red Chamber, something alive and vivid, densely populated, this one is more calm, lone, quiet - like a trace of blood of the Samurai fallen on some battlefield.

Yeah, it was taken from the same metallic container. But each had a different vibe to it, so I felt like uploading both was gonna work. I love the feeling it gives, like you say, it's not as dynamic, more static and at peace. And I also love the idea of a fallen Samurai.Β

Yes, they are very different.
Different stories behind them.
And that shade of yellow: a wheat field, a lot of sunshine, a piece of rice paper... everything.

Hello I see based on your description that you are open to having others use your texture, but you neglected to turn on "creative commons" which is what will allow others to use it. If you turn on "Creative Commons", I'd like to add your texture to my groups library.

when you look at what other groups say to this: what the artist says, counts. if the artist doesn't say anything about it, the deviantart settings count. useful, because deviantart doesn't know some special rulesets for resources, so it's the way to go here.Β

I didn't neglect to turn it on, I willingly refrained to do so because I wanted to make my own specific set of rules count. So far there hasn't been anyone with issues about that. I will continue this way with every upcoming texture because this is the way I see fit for what I do.

I understand, of course you should do as you see fit. Thanks anyway!
