This is such an amazing concept. Not to mention your whole gallery gives off so many different meanings. I love artists like you who have reason and purpose behind what they put out for others to see.

Reminds me of the song "Time" by Pink Floyd. This is really expressive and deep- I love it. A really strong concept, especially with the shovel as the pendulum. I have to say though, one of the things that impressed me is the perfect perspectice on the headstones on the right.

I've never been too interested in the "highly surreal" movements, but some general art history has passed under my bridge. Your recent drawings look very classical in that tradition.
The idea in this is sound and clever. If I were to give advice on some improvement, I'd consider moving that clock over the grave and suspending it in the air. It may be there already in your mind, but because the edge of the grave ends where the foot of the clock begins, our eyes are telling us the clock is next to the grave, not over it.
And if it's next to it, that means that pendulum spade has to swing forward at an angle to dig that grave, which makes for an awkward idea. Moving that clock over the space and making some room for the pendulum to move as a pendulum does, it could enhance your image, at least in my opinion. Think more wall clock than grandfather clock. Having the clock suspended would also push the surreal look of it more I think.
I hope you find this helpful

Thank you, I hadn't thought of that. It is a wonderful suggestion, and I agree that it would push the surrealism of the image more too. I may have to revisit this one.

ok, I saw you like jokes, so here we go :
The grim reaper walks into a bar, a great panic breaks out;
everyone flees outside, screaming in horror..
the reaper walks towards the bartender.
The trembling bartender says "wwwhat do you wwant?"
Grim reaper says "gimme a beer & a bucket & a mop"

well, that's probably because it's a pretty lame joke..
when the grim reaper drinks a beer, it's gonna fall right through him, thats why he needs the mop

You're welcome.
I'm feeling better, but my inflammation is coming and going now. I might be fine for a week, then out of nowhere it will come back. Luckily, I haven't had to go back to the doctor...yet.

I want to try a few drawings based off of the lyrics of songs. Some could turn out funny, while others are epic
