Description
Here's another of my handcarved leather masks; a bobcat.I love getting ideas from nature; I like to research the markings of animals and then try to make a mask that's as realistic as possible. This one is fun because of all the cute spots! ^_^

Gosh, I wish! I started drawing when I realized (yes, I'm blond) no one sees the same concept in my head as I do. I couldn't ever make a living off being the artist because the connection between my head and hand doesn't always work.

Hahaha... deranged raccoon. Who ever did the concept art for ours sucked, because it looks only a little like a bobcat and more like a internet creeper.

I hear bobcats around here too...they ARE creepy! They sound like huge tomcats, or women being murdered.
I've done lions and long ago, tigers. I need to update my tiger pattern 'cause I haven't done one in years.
Also, cougars...I do a pretty good cougar.

This is beautiful - I haven't seen any of your others, but this one is just striking. It has the right feel of the small big cats, and the silhouette is just perfect! I'm in love with the fur in the ears, too
Very inspirational, too - I really want to try leather mask making, but I'm so afraid of it for some reason. This is just beautiful, and so well done!

I love the outline shape on this--especially the catmouth on the bottom, and the carving detail on the ears. And those markings! Very symmetrical and precise. Another beautiful mask.
