Description
This is a set of weather icons I originally created for one of my Samurize configs. They are numbered to be compliant with the weather.com weather service and partially compliant with the Yahoo! Weather service and can be used with Rainmeter skins or Samurize configs (and possibly other programs) that use one of these services. Of course you can also use them for other weather-related things.The set includes six variations, as png (128x128 px) and svg.
Please note that these icons are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license. This means you are free to use these icons for whatever purposes you desire, and you can even modify them and make your own versions, as long as you credit the original author (please provide a link to this page). If you release a modified version of the icons, they must be put under the same license as the originals. The icons were created using Inkscape, and you can easily modify them with that software.

Licence is unclear.
"Please note that these icons are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license", but most of SVG files have CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 in metadata.

I search a good weather icon set in plain black/white for one Rainmeter skin from Omnimo, hope that I can resize them to ~29px without losing quality (if photoshop take the *.svg like a shape it would be cool, never tested).

Really great weather icons. Been using them on conky since long time. I love your work!
I have a suggestion or request for an update (adding/changing new icons) according to Yahoo Weather.com Service.
Since currently exist a documentation you may notice that some of your icons do not correspond to those which are in Yahoo condition codes.
Maybe 5 years ago when you've done them they're in order. Currently i think an update would be a good job.
Really wish you to consider.
Icons that need update may be:
0 currently is Tornado / your png icon show Severe Thunderstorms
1 currently is Tropical Storm / your png icon show Rain or Heavy Rain
2 currently is Hurricane / your png icon show Rain or Heavy Rain
3 OK
4 OK
5 OK
6 OK

9 I think needs a change, (removing two or three drops).

12 Have not the same icon with 11 since both are showers on Yahoo Weather.
13 and 14: must change each other so 14 to be 13 and vice versa.

Hi,
the icons were originally numbered to confirm with the icon codes of weather.com. Those don't completely match the Yahoo standard apparently.
Currently I have no interest in/time for doing an overhaul of the icons, especially since it is almost exclusively a renaming job. The icons are licensed under Creative Commons, so you are welcome to make any changes you want and upload a new version. If you do, I will link to it in the description, so people can find it. You can easily edit the icons with Inkscape if you want to do any changes.

Sorry you can not intervene, however, as you said the opportunity is open to anyone.
This is also good news for me, going around editing images with different applications will be my extension.
Of course in the end i will credit you (your name), link to this page, will always be present.
Also thanks for clarification of Wethar.com and Yahoo Weather. It is true and coincides precisely so. I will intervene themselves here because i am using Yahoo Weather Service.
