..... how can someone "pretend" to be an artist. Being an artist means that you draw, write, or make music, or be creative regardless of if it is a career or not. You could have art be your hobby, but that is still considered being an "artist." And you have to be bold if you are an artist. You can't be embarrassed with what you are doing. I still kind of am, but I know that people probably don't care about my art at the moment. Or they may critique it immensely. I don't take it too heavily though, but I like other people's judgement. It gives me insight and inspiration for the next upcoming thing.

Well I want to be a professional artist at some point ,but I still haven't the skills it takes or have practised enough. If I practised as much as I should I guess I could be an artist .But see, I have to study Β and go to university and work ...
See,between professional artists and amature artists there is one big difference:time.
Ξ professional artist gets up in the morning and draws,writes,makes music for many hours in order to pay his bills ...(and because he-she likes it)
An amature artist draws ,writes,makes music when she-he has time,this means that he -she doesn't practise as much as professional artist.So a proffesional artist is usually more skilled than an amature even if they are as talented...
Your work is nice ,well if some people don;t like your work they shouldn't look at it
