Description
JUst another random pic. I was wondering how sword would just escape from it all. I figured She'd either A: beat the crap out of Blade. (Especially if he was the one who made her want to escape!)or B: Do this. (In other words, find a high and peaceful spot and relax. It makes sense when you think about it.) I was gonna draw blade about to push her off, but I decided to let her have her peace.....................................................for now.As usual, pencil and ink. Oh my, I can't do landscaping or billowing hair! (Yet another major gap in my artistic skill. XP) Well, at least I attempted to shade it in. That's something! please give me some constructive criticism, I want to know how my drawings are. I just realized that this is really my only piece of inspirational art that I've put up here. Oh well, don't worry, the insanity begins soon...............................................

Mh, you really want constructive critic? Well I try : Your outlines are basically Ok, but work on the anatomy and proportions , you know she still have bones, but her arm looks like it´s out of rubber, it should have some edges (However I know that such arms are a typical anime stylistic device). But most important is try to improve your work with the crayon, all the lines are chaotic and in a different pressure (I know you draw on a telephone book, for sure that will automatically increase when you have a table).
But there are many positive aspects too: You really catched the moment of relaxing and a positive loneliness. I really like her face expression, she looks so happy .
Uh, I hope that was ok ;3. It´s good that Blade didn´t do anything to her here, or he would for sure suffer again.

Hmm, well, I'm still learning how to draw these guys, and how to draw period. Ah well, I COULD refine the coloring on the table, and color less late at night! (I colored this in late at night, sorta tired, and wasn't paying attention, but at the same time couldn't sleep.) Though that means some temporary discomfort. (I'm never too comfortable sitting at a desk.) Hn, maybe when I get my room redone....................As far as proportion and anatomy, I, hehe, never.....really............... studied it. You see, I'm completely self taught, never taken an art class. (Well, there's the one at school, but we only studied basic shapes.) I learned by reading books and drawing 24/7!!!!

Heh, well, at least the proportion is better than when I do straight humans, now THAT'S a catastrophe. Sword and Blade are actually good practice as far as humaniod characteristics goes. I wish that I could be right next to Sword, it looks so peaceful................................
