Many people think "Twilight" is a reconstruction of the Vampire.... it's even more of a deconstruction

My personal favourite Vampire films are "Near Dark". "Let the Right One In", "Vampire Hunter D-Bloodlust" & "Bram Stoker's Dracula"

I'm not really a fan of the "30 Days of Night" as they're more Ghouls than Vampires....

...My Vampires are in fact biological philosophers stones able to generate massive amounts of power that increases with the consumption of blood but after ages can gradually be free from the thirst 7 can drink it optionally

Vampires were thugs..... I believe this type of character has a suaveness to them

Alucard of Hellsing has a fine blend of being brutal but has class & standards as does Abel Nightroad of Trinity Blood & Arcueid Brunstud of Tsukihime fame

I ALREADY KNOW THAT at first when I learnt of this I thought.... URGH! So cliché.. however the brilliance came when if you think of it.. this a "What-if" scenario if Abraham Van Helsing defeated Dracula & coaxed him into doing some form of Global service.... NOW this makes the Alucard in Hellsing that more awesome
