Description
Colored version. Jaroda , Emboar, and Daikenki, the final stages of the starters of Isshu. I hated these guys when their pictures were leaked and prayed that they were fake, so seeing their game sprites was crushing. I didn't want to hate the starters, so I thought I'd draw them, cuz that usually makes me like the subject more. And it worked! If Emboar is charging on all fours, he's kinda cool! And Daikenki snarling and leaping up is sorta cute again. And Jaroda's still got that smug look. So they're not as bad as I thought afterall. ^-^Colored in photoshop using their sprites' colors, and some of Obsidian Dawn's brushes in the background. About 2 hours.

Agreed, but Daikenki is officially the only PokΓ©mon I truly hate. Enbuoo is growing on me, though.

I hated him when I first say him, but he's grown on me since drawing him. Now, I don't think there's any Pokemon I truely hate. but Nosepass/Probopass, the garbage bags, and the icecreams come pretty close. lol

I agree, when I first saw the final stages I really hoped they were fake (especially Emboar). When I saw that they weren't, I was crushed. Still, I have pretty much come to accept the starters. Although, this is the first time I've considered maybe starting with out the fire type starter. I mean, how many more fire/fighting starters do we need!?

Yeah, I've ALWAYS started with the fire type, and Pokabu was my favorite (such an adorable, happy little piggy!), but then they had to go and ruin him by making min a stupid fat Rhyperior-pig, and the 3rd Fire/Fighting starter in a row! Since Blaziken has been my all-time favorite Pokemon since 3rd gen first came out, Infernape copying his typing made me mad, but now Emboar, that is just ridiculous!

You think that they would have at least broken the trend and made it another Fire/Ground-type or maybe even a Fire/Dark-type. Just look at Emboar. It could pass for a Fire/Dark-type.

Tell me about it. Sure, that type combination seems to work, but that doesn't mean that all the fire starters have to be like that!
Anyways, your art work was really good none-the-less. You really made them look cool (especially Emboar). Sorry I forgot to mention that in my last message...kind of forgot.

I really hope if they make Emboar stand to his fours again. Him standing on twos makes him look like a Rhyperior. But standing on fours makes him look like a new pokemon!^v^
I'll just watch the new anime to see if that happens.

Yeah, I really hope he walks on all fours in the anime. He looks way better like that. :3
