Description 5) The Cry of an Ent Child
Ancients from before we humans roamed the earth, benevolent and innocent. These children are often not what you would expect.
--
My Shiny Pumpkaboo, Salem #12486, attempting to record the cry of anntheazelf101 's Snover, Nick #1843. (Was given permission to draw him as well.)

Reasoning: Well the riddle does say something you wouldn't expect- and the obvious answers for this riddle would be Phantrump or Bonsly. Snover is another 'ent' Pokemon, involving a tree. While they may not obviously show a mouth, this pokemon does emit a cry in-game and deals with sound in its hidden ability Soundproof. Their Pokedex entries also paint them as very curious creatures about humans. While it may not explicitly state they are ancient, I'll assume since they became curious about human activity that they were there before humans.
I'm a little unsure on this one, but if it somehow isn't Snover, Phantrump, or Bonsly- I really don't know what else to call an ent! (Considering I believe Seedot to be the answer to the first riddle.)

Once this is in the group, both Pokemon will obtain 6 levels. (2 shading, 2 full body, 2 detailed BG)

I really have no more to say on this one lol.

Hmm, I would have gone for Phantump xD
Since in pokΓ©mon mythology it is told that the phantumps are dead children's souls inhabiting a tree trunk (bit creepy isn't it, alongside cubone's back story?)

I thought so too, but there's this bit of the riddle preventing that: "before we humans roamed the earth"
If there were no dead children yet, how could there be Phantrump?

'Cause it is only a legend xD
It says this is what people believed, but they probably discovered it where just pokΓ©mon (which I thought referred to "are not what they seem") + the fact they led humans in the forest astray imitating children voice.

I'm not sure though, I thought this was one of the more difficult ones. I have no idea why bonsly could fit the riddle

Fair enough, I'd still take the bit about 'before humans existed' as serious though. Not to mention I would not say Phantrump are generally benevolent/innocent.

Bonsly is famously known for its crying/fake tears and is also a tree Pokemon-
"benevolent and innocent."
Could be construed as innocent. However I'd say that Snover's curiosity is much more innocent sounding.

"These children are often not what you would expect."
Once again, Bonsly/Phantrump seem the most obvious, I honestly didn't remember Snover was classified as a tree until I looked the Pokedex three times over. XD

Nah, they're shy fellows, aren't they? It's not mentioned that they lead the people astray on purpose and trenevant protects the forest.

But I'm curious if they'll give out the actual answers, 'cause some riddles were a bit vague. I'm particulary interested in the loyal warrior one, cause I had a few canidates for that one xD

Good points good points.

And yeah me too! apparently some people shared Riolu as the answer for that, but I thought Gallade/ralts line fit more since their dex entries specifically mention protecting their trainer. =o

Yeah, I would have never gone for riolu, 'cause it's nowhere mentioned they go the extra mile to protect their trainer, but a lot of people seem to have him. Ralts was one of my guesses too (I never really entered though) 'cause it's said gardevoir is willing to die for it's master and gallade's japanese name even translates 'sir knight'

Other two were Arcanine (who is a huge protector of his trainer) or lillipup (herdier is 'the loyal dog pkemon')

I was thinking of Lillipup a lot actually! And I also thought of Arcanine/Growlithe, but I think I got sidetracked by the fact that the entries for that line only really mention loyalty with Growlithe, not Arcanine. Arcanine's entries seemed wilder.

But I am thinking it must have been Riolu looking at other entries, and that kinda bums me out a bit I suppose. Sure, we know of Riolu/Lucario acting loyally in the anime, but I consider the games and such more 'canon' Pokemon wise.

I mean I passed through but XD I'm just like agh lol. This was fun.

I actually need to find time to work on my entry due Sunday- I'm having a lot of college work due this week so I may not be able to get something really good done. ;_;
