I'm not sure what GIMP is, but if you can change the opacity on the layers, it should work. X3

GIMP is almost like photoshop I guess...I'll figure somethin' out, but thank you for replying to me anyways X3

Well, another method you can use is to:
A) Select the area you want to use.
B) Paste it onto Microsoft Photo Editor or the like,
C) Use the 'brighten' tool to make it a bit lighter.
D) Copy and paste the edited version back onto the original, making sure to line it up.
that technique can be used with paint + Microsoft Photo Editor, of course.
If you don't have MPE, I would recommend downloading 'aint.net' which is like a very simple version of Photoshop.
